Hello!

I have been following your blog for a while with interest and thought you might like these anatomical cross section models that I have recently been making. I have attached some images. Would you be willing to put them up on the blog?

The pieces are all hand made and sculpted from a block of plaster. They are inspired by early plaster and papier mache anatomical models but have a modern feel to them.

I work between Amsterdam and the UK and have just set up an Etsy shop where the pieces are available to buy: https://www.etsy.com/shop/StudioAnatomie

If you would like any more information I would be more than happy to give you that.

Kind regards,

Laura ter Kuile

Would a cockroach survive a nuclear bomb?

ok, perhaps not about anatomy (Depends on how you see it) but still something for those of you who likes science :)

The software medicalAR Mirror allows you to project anatomical data onto your body to get the impression of seeing through your transparent clothes and skin to view your organs. The software can be extended with Apps to make the  immersive views into the body even more interactive and useful for different application scenarios. See also the medicalAR website (medicalar.com).

A really nifty book I just picked up today, it’s set up like a textbook detailing the fictional biography of a scientist who dissected and studied various mythological and religious creatures before abruptly vanishing from society in the early 1900’s, the book being mostly composed of Grey’s Anatomy style plates detailing the creatures’ internal anatomy from several different angles.
